IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR CEMETERY
Due to the generous donations from many of our members, their families and friends, the Grand Forks Cemetery Association has been able to improve your cemetery by:
Memorial Park North
- Beginning in 2014, the Cemetery Association began removing damaged sections of asphalt roads and replaced with new four-inch thick asphalt. This has made a remarkable improvement to the cemetery roads!
- In 2019, we are in the process of removing additional damaged sections of asphalt.

Memorial Park South
- In 2014 and 2015, drain tile was installed throughout the cemetery roads. The drain tile has been very effective at removing water from the roads after heavy rains.
- In October of 2015, the Cemetery Association installed over 400 tons of fractured rock over all the roads.
- In 2015 and 2016, numerous old trees and landscaping beds were removed to make room for new plantings.
- In 2016, two new aluminum flagpoles were installed.
- In 2016 and 2017, New Landscaping was installed at the entrance to the cemetery.
- In 2017, New landscaping and tree planting took place in our Veteran's Garden.
- In October of 2017, New hard-surfaced roads were installed at the entrance to the cemetery.
- In May of 2019, another 100 tons of fractured rock over the roads. This combination of drain tile and fractured rock has proven to be a dramatic improvement to the roads - thanks to our many friends and members who have given donations to accomplish this.
